Store Assistant (Entry Level)

Job Summary

Join our team as a Store Assistant to support daily store and warehouse operations, including stock handling, inventory management, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. This entry-level role offers training and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, storing, and issuing stock and materials to support smooth store operations
• Organize stock properly and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock availability
• Support stock-taking and stock reconciliation activities to verify inventory accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store area to provide a safe and efficient workspace
• Perform basic data entry and record-keeping using computer systems such as Excel and inventory software
• Assist with loading and unloading goods to facilitate timely stock movement
• Carry out other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor to support store functions

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum N/O Level or equivalent
• Basic computer literacy with ability to use Excel, email, and inventory systems for data entry and communication
• Willingness to work 5.5 days per week, including overtime when required
• Physically fit to perform light lifting and manual handling tasks

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possession of Class 3 driving license (advantageous but not required)
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Other Information

• Company transport is provided for staff with pick-up points to be confirmed
• Training will be provided for the right candidate
