About the role

You make things happen on the ground. Two areas sit with you: running our live gelato and dessert stations at weddings, corporate functions, and brand events — and keeping our retail freezer partners stocked and looking good between events. Both are physical, mobile, hands-on work where standards matter and you see the result of your effort immediately.

You'll work alongside our part-time crew on events and, as you grow into the role, lead them.

What you'll do:

Event execution

• Prepare and load equipment, product, and consumables ahead of each event
• Set up dessert stations to our standard — layout, display, branding, hygiene
• Serve guests during the event: scooping, plating, and presenting our product well
• Handle guest interaction warmly and professionally throughout service
• Pack down, clean, and return equipment and unused stock in good order
• Complete post-event reports: stock used, issues, client feedback

Retail merchandising & restocking

• Plan and run restocking routes to partner outlets and freezer points
• Maintain stock levels, rotate product, and monitor expiry and product condition
• Keep freezer displays clean, well-stocked, and on-brand at every location
• Record stock movement and flag issues at outlets to the team

Team leadership (growing into the role)

• Brief and direct part-time crew on site
• Ensure setup, service, and pack-down standards are met by the whole team
• Be the on-site point of contact for the client during the event

Coordination

• Work with the kitchen on production timing and quantities for events and restocks
• Confirm event details, access, timing, and requirements before each job

What we're looking forMust have

• Physically fit — lifting frozen stock, standing for long event days, loading and unloading
• Available to work weekends and evenings (this is when events happen)
• Own transport and a valid Malaysian driving licence — this role is on the road
• Presentable and comfortable interacting with guests, clients, and outlet staff
• Reliable with stock counts, schedules, and checklists
• Good spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English

Nice to have

• Experience in events, F&B service, catering, hospitality, merchandising, or distribution
• Any experience leading or coordinating a small team
• Food handling certificate (we can arrange this if you don't have one)

• Finishes as strong as they start — pack-down and the last restock stop matter as much as setup

Growth path

We're hiring this role with a view to it becoming our Event Team Leader — the person who runs events end-to-end and leads the crew independently. If you show you can hold the standard and lead a team, that step comes with title and pay to match.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
