About the Job

The Associate supports the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of strategic initiatives, distribution programs, and sales campaigns to strengthen GEGM's distribution channels. The role combines analytical, coordination, project management, and performance monitoring responsibilities, providing exposure to business planning, distribution strategy, and sales effectiveness.


Distribution design and delivery:

  • Support the implementation of distribution initiatives and action plans aligned with business objectives and growth priorities.
  • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend analysis to identify opportunities, challenges, and emerging market developments.
  • Gather, analyse, and interpret data to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and business updates for management discussions and reviews.
  • Monitor progress of key initiatives and provide administrative and coordination support to ensure timely execution with relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement of distribution performance.


Sales campaigns and programs management

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of sales campaigns, incentive programs, and distribution initiatives.
  • Independently manage assigned campaign workstreams and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign requirements, timelines, communications, and deliverables are executed effectively.
  • Monitor campaign performance and maintain accurate records of campaign results, participation, and commitments.
  • Prepare campaign evaluation reports, performance summaries, and project closure documentation.
  • Support the administration and timely processing of campaign commitments, incentives, sponsorships, and payouts.
  • Track campaign and programme expenses to ensure compliance with approved budgets, expense guidelines, and cost classifications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness, operational processes, and intermediary engagement.


Performance monitoring and reporting

  • Prepare regular performance reports and dashboards to monitor distribution productivity, campaign effectiveness, and business outcomes.
  • Consolidate, validate, and analyse data from multiple sources to generate meaningful business insights.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Track and analyse intermediary performance, engagement, retention, and persistency trends.
  • Maintain accurate intermediary, campaign, and performance databases.
  • Support the design and maintenance of intermediary lifecycle and distribution analytics records.
  • Prepare management reports and presentations to support business reviews and decision-making.


Stakeholder Coordination & Project Support

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Distribution, Finance, Operations, and other business functions to support execution of initiatives.
  • Coordinate meetings, timelines, action items, and follow-up activities to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support cross-functional projects and business initiatives by facilitating information flow and stakeholder alignment.
  • Escalate issues, risks, and dependencies to supervisors where appropriate.
  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders at operational and working levels.


Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, governance requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Identify operational risks, process inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to enhance reporting capabilities, campaign management practices, and operational processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of initiatives, campaigns, and business activities.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and campaign administration processes.


We are looking for people with

  • 1 to 4 years of relevant working experience in strategy, business planning, project coordination, sales support, analytics, or related functions.
  • Experience within the insurance or financial services industry would be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of business performance metrics and data analysis techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyse, interpret, and present information effectively.
  • Good project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different functions.
  • Ability to interpret data and convert findings into practical insights and recommendations.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic business environment.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, expense monitoring, and campaign administration processes would be an advantage.
