Key Responsibilities
Site Management:
Oversee daily field operations, direct work crews, and monitor project progress.
Safety Enforcement:
Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct hazard checks, and ensure proper use of safety gear.
Quality Control:
Inspect completed work to verify compliance with architectural blueprints and building codes.
Coordination:
Liaise with contractors, vendors, engineers, and project managers to resolve on-site delays or conflicts.
Resource Allocation:
Manage site logistics, including material deliveries and equipment handling. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9]
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma; a diploma or bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is often preferred.
Experience:
Prior hands-on experience in the construction industry and a demonstrated leadership role.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong ability to read blueprints, interpret technical drawings, and understand building codes.
Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal communication, problem-solving under pressure, and team organization.
Certifications:
Valid driver's license and relevant safety credentials (such as first aid or local safety training certifications)
