Student Management Support Officer x1

Salary: $150/day, approximately $3,250/month
Contract Duration: 1 year
️ Contract Period: November 2026 – November 2027
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, including 1-hour lunch (35 hours per week), excluding weekends, Public Holidays, Home-Based Learning days and school holidays

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Student Management team with groundwork and follow-up for student management cases.
• Take student statements and clarify student accounts through relevant follow-up questions.
• Facilitate student reflection during class suspension using the school's established approach.
• Supervise students carrying out service work as part of assigned consequences.
• Facilitate simple apologies and reconciliation between students where appropriate.
• Provide relevant information and observations to support case follow-up.
• Complete Incident Reports and maintain proper documentation of incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.

Job Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Youth Work or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with children or youths is advantageous.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students appropriately.
• Patient, calm and able to handle student-related matters professionally.
• Good observation, documentation and follow-up skills.
• Able to maintain confidentiality when handling student information and incident records.
• Able to work independently and support the Student Management team effectively.
