Role Description The Financial Accountant role at Insight Genesis – IGAi is a full-time, remote position responsible for managing core financial accounting and reporting activities. On a day-to-day basis, the Financial Accountant prepares, reviews, and reconciles financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies. The role includes maintaining general ledger entries, processing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures. The Financial Accountant collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver timely financial reports, perform variance analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting processes. This role also involves using accounting software to streamline workflows, implementing controls to safeguard financial data, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, technology-focused environment.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Financial Reporting to support accurate budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements, including preparation, review, and reconciliation under applicable accounting standards.
• Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, conduct variance analysis, and generate actionable insights.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Accounting Software and related digital tools to manage ledgers, transactions, and reporting efficiently.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP or IFRS, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment.
• Experience in technology, fintech, or data-driven organizations and familiarity with internal controls, audit processes, and regulatory compliance are beneficial.
