The Company:

VeSync is a portfolio company with brands that cover different categories of health & wellness products. We wouldn’t be surprised if you have one of our Levoit air purifiers in your living room or a COSORI air fryer whipping up healthy and delicious meals for you every night.

We’re a young and energetic company, we’ve had tremendous success, and we are constantly growing our team. As we garner more industry attention – just check out our accomplishments and awards by CES Innovation, iF Design, IGA, and Red Dot – we also need driven and talented people to join our team.

That brings us to you, and what you’ll be joining. Our teams are smart and diligent and take ownership of their work – they’re confident in their work but know how to collaborate with open ears and a spirit of learning. If you’re down-to-earth, approachable, and easy to strike up a conversation with, this may be a great fit for you.

About the Role

VeSync is building its first enterprise-level Consumer & User Insights capability. This role's mandate is deliberately specific: build the system that makes consumer understanding repeatable, comparable, and compounding across the company — not to become the single voice that interprets what any one local market's users think.

Local market insight conclusions belong to the people closest to those users. Regional GMs, CGOs, and local Consumer Insight teams and Marketing teams hold that ground-truth advantage and will continue to own the substance of what their users think, need, and do. This role's job is to give them a shared methodology, shared tools, and a shared data architecture so their local insight work gets FAster, more rigorous, and reusable — and so patterns that no single region can see on its own become visible at the enterprise level.

Concretely: this is a systems and infrastructure-building mandate first, and a strategic-synthesis mandate second. Success looks like a working insights operating system — methodology standards, a tool and data stack, a shared taxonomy, a knowledge repository — that regional and functional teams actually adopt, more than it looks like a personal point of view on where any single market is headed.

We are deliberately starting narrow. Rather than standing up a full global research infrastructure on day one, this role will first prove the model on a focused pilot scope before expanding. Scope expansion beyond Phase 1 is a deliberate, re-reviewed decision , not an assumed trajectory.

What You'll Do

  • Build the Insights Operating System (primary mandate):
  • Define how Global, Regional and Category teams work together, balancing global consistency with local market flexibility.
  • Build the minimum shared data architecture and tool stack needed to capture always-on, behavior-based signal (e.g., e-commerce reviews, return reasons, usage/support data, social commentary) alongside traditional qual/quant methods — starting with one pilot category.
  • Stand up a knowledge repository so that insight generated anywhere in the company compounds instead of being re-discovered region by region.
  • Select and manage the external research vendors, agencies, and platforms that support the shared system, within approved budget.

  • Enable Regional Insight Ownership:
  • Identify structural patterns, white space, or recurring signals that show up across multiple regions' insight work but are invisible from any single market's vantage point.
  • Bring these cross-market syntheses to the relevant Regional GMs/CGOs and Product/R&D leaders as a proposed input, reviewed jointly before being treated as a strategic conclusion.
  • Promote consumer insight best practices cross different regions.

  • Partner Cross-Functionally on Adoption:
  • Partner with R&D, Product, Marketing, and the DTC organization to drive adoption of the shared methodology and tools in their day-to-day work.
  • Work with the Voice of the Customer function on a shared, non-duplicative model for capturing and routing consumer signal .

What We Are Looking For

  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience building a research/insights operating system from scratch — methodology standardization, data/tool architecture, vendor and panel management, knowledge management — at a global or multi-market company. This is the primary qualifying experience for this role.
  • 10+ years in Consumer Insights, Market Research, Research Operations, or an adjacent insights-infrastructure/analytics-platform role; background in a global consumer products company is a plus but is not, by itself, sufficient without direct systems-building experience.
  • Comfortable operating as a systems owner rather than the primary interpretive voice on consumer truth — this role succeeds by making regional teams better at their own insight work, not by producing the insight itself.
  • Working fluency in both traditional research methods (segmentation, concept and product testing, brand health tracking) and behavior-based, always-on signal capture (e-commerce reviews, returns data, usage and support data, social listening), sufficient to design a methodology standard — deep personal expertise in any one method is secondary to the ability to standardize and scale methods across teams.
  • Practical experience with consumer/research data platforms, AI-enabled research tools, and vendor ecosystems, and the judgment to select and govern them rather than personally operate every tool.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master's, or PhD) in Business, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, or a quantitative discipline — or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Strong cross-functional influence skills for a matrixed environment where this role advises and enables far more often than it decides.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and build durable systems through ambiguity and organizational change.

Preferred, Not Required

  • Background in consumer electronics, smart home, or other DTC-heavy hardware categories.
  • A track record of shaping brand or innovation strategy through insight — valuable, but secondary to systems-building capability for this hire.

Why Join Us?

  • A rare founder's mandate to design, from first principles, the infrastructure that lets VeSync's understanding of its users compound over time — not just report on it.
  • Direct, regular visibility with the CEO and regional leadership, with Phase 1 results shaping how much of the enterprise this function eventually touches.
  • The chance to build a genuinely modern insights operating system for a FAst-moving hardware and DTC business — a discipline still rare enough in the market that doing it well is a distinctive career credential.
