We are seeking an energetic and customer-centric Retail Sales Representative to join our frontline team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for engaging with customers, demonstrating the latest hardware and tech solutions, and driving sales to meet branch targets. The ideal candidate will combine strong interpersonal skills with a solid understanding of technology products to guide customers toward the best purchasing decisions in a high-footfall retail environment.

Customer Engagement & Sales

• Welcome and greet customers promptly as they enter the store, ensuring a positive and professional shopping experience.

• Actively listen to customer needs, answer questions, and recommend appropriate tech products, accessories, and upgrades.

• Conduct hands-on product demonstrations, clearly explaining technical specifications, features, and benefits (e.g., laptops, PC components, and peripherals).

• Utilize effective cross-selling and up-selling techniques to maximize the average transaction value and help the branch achieve its monthly sales quotas.

Store Operations & Inventory

• Accurately process sales transactions, handle payments, and issue receipts using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

• Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock replenishment on the sales floor, conducting regular stock counts, and navigating enterprise inventory software (e.g., Wavelet ERP) to check product availability.

• Process customer returns, warranties, and exchanges efficiently and in accordance with company policy.

• Maintain accurate daily sales records and ensure smooth shift handovers with colleagues.

Merchandising & Store Standards

• Ensure all product displays, interactive stations, and counters are clean, organized, and fully functioning.

• Update pricing tags, promotional signage, and merchandising layouts to align with current marketing campaigns and roadshow events.

• Monitor store security and adhere to all loss prevention protocols to safeguard high-value electronic merchandise.

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years in retail sales, customer service, or a highly active sales-floor environment. Previous experience in consumer electronics, IT retail, or hardware is highly preferred.

• Technical Knowledge: A strong foundational understanding of modern tech products, computing hardware, and current industry trends.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers easily.

• Operational Skills: Basic mathematical proficiency and familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and inventory management software.

• Work Ethic & Flexibility: Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable. Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays to match peak shopping mall hours.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift, move, and shelve inventory.
