We are seeking an organised, approachable and proactive individual who is passionate about fostering a love of reading while providing high quality administrative support. The successful candidate will enjoy working with young people, communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders and thrive in a busy school environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day to day operation of the school library, ensuring it is organised, welcoming and conducive to learning.
• Support students and staff in accessing library resources and promoting a positive reading culture.
• Develop and deliver library initiatives, displays and activities that encourage reading and independent learning.
• Maintain library resources, records and inventories using the school’s library management system.
• Provide administrative support, including maintaining accurate records, preparing documentation and responding to enquiries.
• Ensure confidentiality of student information and comply with safeguarding, health and safety and school policies.
• Work collaboratively with students, staff and parents to support teaching, learning and student wellbeing.
• Undertake other duties appropriate to the role as directed by the Assistant Principal.
