About the Role

We are actively recruiting for several dynamic, commercially minded Legal Counsels with Energy, Projects and/or Infrastructure development related experience, based in Singapore.

These high-impact fixed term contract roles support leading global companies across various sectors, including energy and infrastructure. You will act as a trusted legal advisor across the entire project lifecycle, partnering closely with project delivery, procurement, and investment teams to negotiate high-value construction, development, and real estate transactions across the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities

• Development & Expansion Transactions: Advise on greenfield and brownfield infrastructure projects, concessions, joint ventures, site acquisitions, and leases.
• Acquisitions and Investments: Advise on complex cross-border acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and project financing with a focus on energy, energy transition, and infrastructure.
• Commercial Risk Management: Provide practical legal guidance on project execution, supply chain management, contractor claims, variations, performance security, and dispute mitigation.
• Capital Projects & Construction Advisory: Draft, review, and negotiate high-value project, design, procurement, and construction agreements, including EPC contracts, FIDIC-based agreements, and build-to-suit packages.

Who We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: Qualified lawyer in a recognized jurisdiction (common-law qualification preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years PQE, with background in a top-tier law firm and/or in-house counsel experience at a major infrastructure, energy, or logistics platform.
• Domain Expertise: Strong expertise in major capital projects, cross-border investments, acquisitions and joint ventures, real estate development, and complex construction contracting.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid familiarity with international construction standards (e.g., FIDIC), project delivery models, real estate leases, and vendor/supplier frameworks.
• Key Skills: High commercial acumen with a practical, solution-oriented approach to risk management and strong cross-border negotiation skills.
