Location: City Hall (Walking Distance from MRT)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 2 to 4 working days per month, based on operational requirements
Working Hours: 9 hours per working day
Remuneration: $10 to $13 per transcript piece. Further details will be discussed during the interview.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately transcribe meeting discussions, hearings, and official proceedings verbatim.
Proofread, edit, and format transcripts according to established style and formatting guidelines.
Maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency, and quality in all transcription work.
Submit completed transcripts within stipulated timelines.
Requirements
Prior experience in transcription, editing, proofreading, or related work is preferred.
Experience converting spoken content into clear and accurate written reports is advantageous.
Comfortable using digital tools and software. Familiarity with transcription software is an advantage.
Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
Interest in current affairs and the ability to understand contemporary topics and discussions would be beneficial.
Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
Successful candidates will be required to complete and pass a transcription assessment.
