Job Responsibilities
Assist with
daily food preparation
, including washing, cutting, portioning and basic cooking.
Support cooks and chefs during daily kitchen operations and service periods.
Prepare ingredients according to recipes, kitchen standards and instructions.
Assist with cooking and plating of dishes while maintaining consistency and quality.
Maintain proper food storage, stock rotation and inventory levels.
Keep kitchen equipment, workstations and preparation areas clean and organised.
Follow food hygiene, workplace safety and kitchen SOPs.
Assist with receiving, checking and storing kitchen supplies.
Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Chef or Supervisor.
Job Requirements
Prior kitchen or F&B experience is an advantage;
training will be provided
.
Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations is preferred.
Willing to learn cooking techniques and follow recipes and instructions.
Responsible, cooperative and able to work effectively with the kitchen team.
Willing to work
5 days per week
, including weekends and public holidays when required.
