ROLE OVERVIEW

If you have a strong command of Primary and Secondary Mathematics, enjoy working with young learners, and find genuine fulfilment in helping students build curiosity and confidence in the subject — this role is for you.

We are looking for a dedicated Freelance Tuition Teacher Specialist to teach Mathematics for P1-P6, standard stream, and S1-S4, G3 stream at one of our outlet. You'll teach in a well-structured environment with comprehensive lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching resources provided, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging and effective lessons.

Nature of Engagement: This is a freelance teaching position remunerated on an hourly basis. Tutors are engaged as self-employed individuals and are responsible for their own CPF contributions and tax obligations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and deliver engaging, effective Mathematics lessons aligned with our curriculum and the MOE syllabus
• Teach Primary and Secondary (P1-S4) students in a structured classroom setting
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that builds student confidence and enthusiasm for the subject
• Mark and return assignments and worksheets in a timely manner
• Provide regular progress updates on students to centre management, and communicate feedback to parents as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Genuine passion for teaching Mathematics, and a commitment to helping students excel
• A degree or relevant teaching qualification (e.g. NIE-trained teachers are welcome to apply)
• Candidates holding a Diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 1 year of full-time tutoring or teaching experience are also welcome to apply
• Strong subject knowledge in Primary and Secondary Mathematics
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience in P1-P6, standard stream, and S1-S4, G3 stream is required; experience in a tuition or enrichment centre setting is an advantage
• Able to commit to teaching assigned classes for a minimum of one full academic year (Nov 2026 - Oct 2027)
