Role Description The General Employee role at KoeMah Technologies is a full-time, on-site position based in Penang, Malaysia. This role involves supporting daily operations across design, fabrication, and production, including handling materials, assisting with machine setup, monitoring basic equipment processes, and ensuring that work areas remain safe and organized. The General Employee may help prepare parts for 3D printing and metal fabrication, perform simple quality checks, and assist with packaging and labeling products for delivery. The role also includes coordination with designers and technicians, updating basic records or job sheets, and communicating operational issues to supervisors. The General Employee contributes to maintaining smooth workflow, meeting project timelines, and supporting continuous improvement in processes and customer service.
Qualifications

• Ability to perform hands-on tasks in a workshop or fabrication environment, including basic materials handling and equipment assistance.
• Attention to detail and basic quality control skills to check parts and products against specifications.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers, technicians, and supervisors.
• Basic computer literacy for updating job records, reading work instructions, and following digital workflows.
• Willingness to learn about mechanical design, 3D printing, laser cutting, and fabrication processes on the job.
• Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet daily production schedules.
• Commitment to workplace safety, following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or a technical workshop environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Ability to stand, move, and handle light to moderate physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Basic proficiency in English; additional language skills relevant to the Penang area are beneficial.
