Manufacturing Engineer (Automation & PLC)
Location: Singapore

We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join a dynamic manufacturing environment where you will play a key role in ensuring machine reliability, optimizing production processes, and supporting automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

Support machine installation, commissioning, and process validation activities.

Diagnose and modify PLC programs to improve equipment performance and reliability.

Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to implement process improvements.

Analyze equipment performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Coordinate with vendors and external contractors on equipment servicing and upgrades.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience with automated machinery and production equipment.

Knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.).

Familiarity with automation controls, sensors, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
