Role Overview:
The Air Traffic Services (ATS) Division is responsible for providing 24/7 air navigation services for flights that operates in and around Singapore, including civil aerodromes such as Changi and Seletar Airports, ensuring a safe and efficient air traffic flow in one of the region's busiest and most complex airspaces.

As part of the ATS Division, you will provide administrative support to Air Traffic Control (ATC)operations units, comprising more than 350 staff across several off-site facilities. You will be part of a team supporting round-the-clock operations through a shift roster system.

Working hours are rostered on a rotating shift patten and may be scheduled between 6.00am and 12.00 midnight. Shift assignments will rotate according to operational requirements and may include weekdays, weekends and Public Holidays. You will also be responsible for the coordination and recalling of operational staff as well as supporting the Division’s day-to-day administrative functions.

Job Scope:

  • Coordinate the timely recall of operational staff, when required, including contacting eligible staff, tracking responses, escalating shortfalls and maintaining accurate recall records in accordance with established procedures.
  • Retrieve and recall ATC operational records, including voice communications, surveillance radar recordings and associated operational data to support operational reviews, investigations and enquiries.
  • Accurately transcribe ATC voice communications for operational analysis, investigations and official documentation.
  • Retrieve, prepare and conduct playback of ATC audio recordings, surveillance radar data and video recordings for operational reviews, investigations and training purposes.
  • Plot areas affected by Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) on surveillance radar systems to support operational planning, situational awareness and post-event analysis.
  • Verify and ensure the accuracy and completeness of operational data and records, and manage the information in accordance with established confidentiality, security and records management procedures.
  • Establish and maintain proper documentation, filing and archival processes and systems to enable timely retrieval of operational records.
  • Prepare and disseminate administrative emails relating to operational security, information security and other departmental matters.
  • Coordinate with ATC Officers and relevant stakeholders to fulfil authorised requests for operational data and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of operational reports, statistics and records to support management reporting and operational analysis.
  • Support the review and continuous improvement of administrative procedures and work processes.
  • Support other operational duties in the Air Traffic Management operations centre as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Trained in any discipline. Candidates with relevant working experience in aviation operations, operations support, records management, administration or related fields will have an advantage.
  • Meticulous with strong attention to detail, particularly when handling operational information and preparing official records.
  • Good listening skills with the ability to accurately transcribe recorded voice communications.
  • Comfortable working with audio, video and surveillance playback systems, or willing to learn operational systems and applications.
  • Able to handle confidential and security-sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Good organisational skills and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting operational timelines.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Working Hours: 

  • AM Shift: 6.00am to 3.00pm (inclusive of 1-hour meal break)
  • Relief AM Shift: 9.00am to 3.00pm (no meal break)
  • PM Shift: 3.00pm to 12.00am (inclusive of 1-hour meal break)
  • Relief PM Shift: 6.00pm to 10.00pm (no meal break)

Contract Period: 1 year

Salary: $3800-$4000/month
