A Warehouse Operations Leader bridges upper management and floor staff, driving daily logistics efficiency and ensuring inventory precision. This role demands an ideal blend of leadership presence and technical proficiency with modern digital logistics systems. The Warehouse Operations Leader supervises and coordinates daily warehouse operations—including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch. You will lead, coach, and motivate a team of warehouse associates to meet performance targets, optimize facility workflows, and ensure strict adherence to occupational safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development: Supervise daily floor staffing, delegate workloads, and manage team performance (attendance, appraisals, coaching). Conduct daily shift briefings and foster positive team morale.
• Operational Workflow Optimization: Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure orders are fulfilled completely, accurately, and on schedule. Analyze processes using Lean methods to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce operating costs.
• Inventory & Stock Accuracy: Oversee regular cycle counts and stock audits. Investigate inventory discrepancies, manage stock categorization using FIFO/FEFO rules, and optimize physical warehouse space and storage layouts.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate closely with Procurement, Sales, HR, and external logistics carriers to streamline cross-departmental handoffs and handle operational escalations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 1 to 3+ years of hands-on warehouse operations experience,
• Education: Diploma or Degree equivalent required
• Technical Proficiency: Excel in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Words
• Interpersonal Abilities: Proven ability to resolve conflicts, communicate instructions clearly, and maintain productivity under pressure.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20–25kg, stand/walk for extended periods on the warehouse floor, and comfortably navigate an active logistics environment.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM12,500.00 per month
