This isn't a back-office accounting role. You'll work directly with founders of fast-growing Seed to Series A/B startups across AI, fintech, Web3 and other emerging industries — companies actively raising between $5M and $50M in capital. You'll get a front-row seat (and a hands-on role) in the financial decisions that shape their growth: fundraising, forecasting, scaling operations, and building the systems that let them move fast.

And beyond client work, you'll be part of the core team building our Agentic Finance Platform — a new way of delivering finance and CFO support powered by AI, designed to transform how accountants and CFOs serve their clients. You won't just use the tools. You'll help shape them.

What You Will Do:

• Act as a hands-on finance partner — close to a fractional CFO — for a portfolio of high-growth startups, owning their end-to-end financial and operational reporting (management accounts, cash-flow, KPI packs, board packs, variance analysis)
• Support active fundraising processes for companies raising $5M–$50M: data-room preparation, financial models, and investor reporting
• Drive month-end close, AP/AR, payroll coordination, treasury and bank reconciliations, Build and maintain rolling forecasts, budgets and scenario models that founders actually use to make decisions
• Spot process gaps and implement scalable finance systems and controls — not just report on the numbers, but improve how they're produced
• Be the primary day-to-day finance contact for founders and leadership teams, working under senior CFO mentorship
• Help design and refine workflows for our Agentic Finance Platform, contributing your accounting expertise to how AI-powered finance tools get built

Who You Are:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, MIA or equivalent)
• 8–10 years of experience, including meaningful time at one organization (established company or startup) where you went deep — learned the systems inside out, and drove real process improvements Strong technical accounting foundation (IFRS / SFRS preferred) Commercially minded — genuinely interested in how businesses and startups work, not just how to close their books
• A natural problem solver who dives in and figures things out, rather than waiting to be told
• Driven to make things more efficient at scale — you notice friction and fix it
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments
• A clear communicator who can translate numbers into insight for non-finance founders
• Has real ambition to become a CFO, and sees this role as the fast track to get there

Nice to Have

• Prior exposure to startups, SaaS, crypto or fintech
• Experience with Singapore compliance (ACRA, corporate tax, employment matters)
• Familiarity with modern tools (Xero, QuickBooks, Notion, modern FP&A or BI tools)
• Any experience supporting fundraising or investor reporting
