Job Title: Senior AI/ML Engineer – Generative AI

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI/ML Engineer with deep expertise in Generative AI to drive the development and scaling of next-generation AI capabilities within the insurance industry. In this role, you will design, fine-tune, and deploy large language models (LLMs) to enhance conversational intelligence, automate communications, and improve decision-making across our platforms.

You will work at the forefront of AI innovation, transforming complex business challenges into scalable, intelligent solutions. Beyond technical excellence, this role requires strong stakeholder management skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business leaders, ensuring AI initiatives deliver measurable value.

• Design, develop, and improve Generative AI systems to enable high-quality decision-making, refine query responses, and enhance automated communication capabilities.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models—from data collection and preprocessing to training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Continuously research and implement cutting-edge techniques in deep learning, NLP, and Generative AI to build state-of-the-art solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to design and deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Optimize and streamline deep learning training pipelines for efficiency and scalability.
• Define and track performance metrics to measure model accuracy, efficiency, and business impact.
• Act as a key technical liaison to internal stakeholders, translating complex AI concepts into actionable business insights and aligning technical roadmaps with organizational goals.
• Engage with regional business teams to understand market-specific nuances and tailor AI solutions accordingly.

• Minimum 4 years of industry experience in developing deep learning models, with a strong focus on NLP and Generative AI.
• Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based services (preferably Azure) for model training and deployment.
• Proficiency with Hugging Face’s Transformer libraries and familiarity with LLM fine-tuning techniques.
• Proven experience in developing and scaling Generative AI systems in production environments.
• Strong background in large-scale data processing, including pre-processing, cleaning, and normalization.
• Proficiency in Python (preferred) or R.
• Solid understanding of NLP techniques and libraries (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, LangChain).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Preferred: Prior experience or familiarity with the Hong Kong and Taiwan markets, including an understanding of local business practices, regulatory considerations, and cultural nuances in AI application.
