Job Summary

The Cashier Supervisor is responsible for supervising cashier operations, ensuring smooth customer checkout processes, maintaining accurate cash handling, and leading the cashier team to deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cashier and front-end operations.
• Monitor cashier performance and ensure fast, accurate transactions.
• Handle cash float, cash collection, and end-of-day reconciliation.
• Resolve customer complaints and payment issues professionally.
• Train and guide cashiers on POS system and customer service standards.
• Ensure sufficient cashier counters are operating during peak hours.
• Monitor compliance with company SOPs and cash handling procedures.
• Assist in opening and closing store operations.
• Coordinate with other departments for operational support.

Requirements

• SPM/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in cashiering, retail, or supermarket operations preferred.
• Leadership and supervisory skills.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM2,300.00 per month
