Field Service Engineer
Job Description
To provide pre and post sales technical support for equipment distributed by BioLab. Responsibility include but not limited to performing equipment technical inspection and preventive maintenance, attending to equipment failure service calls, ensuring standard procedure in Service Department are followed anddocumentations updated and traceable.
Technical service support can be provided in the office through telephone and/or at customer site. Need to be independent, self-motivated and able to work under-pressure. Candidates should possess technical competency, communication skills, as well as technical analysis and problem- solving skills.
Qualifications/Skills required
5-day work week

Job Description

Qualifications/Skills required
- Degree or Diploma in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering from a recognized institution of education
- Relevant work experience related to our industry will be advantages
- Able to handle demanding and difficult customers
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Possess intuitive and analytical mind
- Possess good communications skills and able to explain clearly the trouble-shooting process and problems identified
- Able to think out of box
- Able to take the lead and work well in a team
- Able and willingness to accept standby on weekdays and weekends
- Able to travel overseas for product training
- Product specific training on trouble-shooting and maintenance organized by the product manufacturers
- On-the-job training guided by experienced engineers
