We are a leading specialist in architectural wet trades for high-rise buildings. We are looking for a motivated and eager Site Supervisor Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in managing active construction sites.
You will work directly on projects involving brickwork, blockwork, plastering, skimming, and tiling.
What you will do:
1. On-Site Leadership & Coordination:
- Supervise, direct, and motivate bricklaying, plastering, and tiling crews on site.
- Plan and coordinate daily work schedules, manpower, and resources efficiently.
- Liaise with main contractors, site managers, and other trades to ensure smooth project progression.
2. Quality Control:
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and finished work, addressing any deficiencies immediately.
3. Health & Safety:
- Enforce and promote a strict safety-first culture on site.
- Ensure all site activities comply with company and regulatory H&S policies.
- Conduct toolbox talks and site inductions.
4. Programme & Progress Management:
- Monitor site progress against the project programme and prepare daily report .
- Proactively identify and help resolve any potential delays or issues.
5. Resource Management:
- Monitor material usage and coordinate deliveries to minimise waste and ensure availability.
- Manage on-site plant and equipment.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, or a senior tradesperson in brickwork, plastering, or tiling.
- In-depth, practical knowledge of architectural wet trades (brickwork, blockwork, plastering, skimming, tiling).
- Strong understanding of construction health and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- IT literate and highly organised.
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation.
