We are looking for a Bicycle Mechanic / Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about bicycles, enjoys working with customers, and has good technical knowledge of bicycle servicing and repairs.

You will be responsible for both bicycle servicing and repairs as well as sales and customer service in our retail store.

Key Responsibilities

Bicycle Servicing & Repairs

• Perform bicycle servicing, maintenance, adjustments and repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot bicycle issues.
• Install and replace bicycle components such as brakes, gears, chains, cassettes, cranksets and handlebars.
• Carry out gear and brake adjustments.
• Assemble and prepare new bicycles for customers.
• Conduct safety checks before handing bicycles back to customers.
• Keep the workshop and tools clean and organised.

Sales & Customer Service

• Assist customers in selecting bicycles and accessories based on their needs and budget.
• Explain bicycle specifications, features and differences between models.
• Recommend suitable components, accessories and upgrades.
• Process sales and assist with online and retail orders when required.
• Provide professional after-sales service and support.
• Build good relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.

Store Operations

• Maintain a clean and organised showroom and workshop.
• Assist with stock checking, receiving goods and inventory management.
• Support daily retail operations and other tasks when required.

Requirements

• Bicycle servicing or mechanical experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of bicycle components and basic bicycle mechanics.
• Experience with road bikes, MTB, hybrid, folding or city bikes is an advantage.
• Sales or retail experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for bicycles and the cycling industry.

Working Hours

Full-time position. Working hours and rest days will be discussed during the interview.
