HVAC Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in factory, industrial, and commercial building environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, servicing, preventive maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and control system faults.
• Service and maintain split units, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, and ventilation systems.
• Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, and leak testing safely.
• Maintain service reports and maintenance records.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when required.
• Follow company SOPs, safety requirements, PPE, and CIDB regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in HVAC, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Valid CIDB Green Card is required.
• 2–5 years of relevant HVAC experience, preferably in factory, industrial, or commercial building environments.
• Good knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, refrigeration, and troubleshooting.
• Able to read HVAC drawings and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work shift, standby, overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Candidates with a valid GDL (Goods Driving Licence) will have an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with chillers, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, and chilled water systems.
• Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and preventive maintenance practices.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.

Salary: RM1,700 – RM3,500 per month
