A Construction Supervisor

oversees on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget

. They manage workers, coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety regulations, and verify compliance with plans. Key duties include monitoring progress, scheduling, inspections, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Management: Managing daily operations, enforcing safety protocols, and supervising personnel.
• Progress Tracking: Ensuring project milestones are met on schedule.
• Quality Control: Inspecting work and materials to meet specifications and regulations.
• Coordination: Liaising with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and clients.
• Resource Management: Ensuring materials and equipment are available and used correctly. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Knowledge: Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Leadership: Strong team management and decision-making skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for reporting.
• Safety Expertise: Deep understanding of health and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, SSIC).
• Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected issues and delays. 
• Typical Qualifications: Must have Degree with min 3 years experience.
• License: Ability to travel around Singapore with own vehicle. Class 3 driving licence with 2 years min driving experience.

Educational background in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.

Previous experience as a foreman or supervisor.

Relevant safety certifications (e.g., Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course)
