Position: Singaporean English Language Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $10 - $41/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Record high-quality audio samples in Singaporean English to support AI language model development
• Transcribe, annotate, and review audio data ensuring precision and linguistic accuracy
• Apply deep understanding of Singaporean English phonetics and pronunciation to refine data quality
• Collaborate with the customer's team to follow and improve AI workflows and data collection protocols
• Evaluate and validate AI-generated audio and transcripts for naturalness and correctness
• Maintain detailed documentation of completed tasks and provide feedback on process enhancements

Requirements

• Have native-level fluency in Singaporean English, with a clear understanding of local nuances, slang, and pronunciation
• Proven expertise in audio transcription, annotation, or data collection is required
• Familiarity with phonetics and linguistic analysis, especially Singaporean English features, is essential
• Experience using digital recording tools or a willingness to learn is necessary
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work are crucial
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clarity, accuracy, and professionalism, are a must
