Retail Sales & Merchandising Associate

Basic Salary: RM1,800–RM2,100 per month

About Meadow Computer

Meadow Computer is an established Johor-based computer retailer with over 30 years of industry experience and multiple retail locations across Johor.

We provide computers, laptops, printers, PC components, accessories and other technology products from leading brands. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused team member who enjoys technology, retail sales and helping customers choose suitable products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting computers, electronics and accessories according to their needs and budget.
• Explain product specifications, features, warranties and available promotions clearly.
• Work towards individual and outlet sales targets.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through company and vendor training.
• Arrange product displays, price labels and promotional materials.
• Receive, unpack, check and arrange incoming stock.
• Keep the sales floor, display areas and workstations clean and organized.
• Participate in stock counts, markdowns and other merchandising activities.
• Support store-opening and store-closing procedures.
• Follow Company procedures relating to attendance, cash handling, stock security and loss prevention.
• Assist with other reasonable retail duties when required.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or an equivalent qualification.
• Retail, sales or customer-service experience is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Interest in computers, electronics or technology products.
• Willingness to learn about new products and participate in training.
• Friendly, patient and genuinely interested in helping customers.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and cooperate with the retail team.
• Able to manage several tasks and adjust priorities during busy periods.
• Willing to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Able to stand for extended periods and safely handle retail stock, including items weighing up to 30kg, with assistance or equipment where appropriate.

Working Schedule

This position follows a retail duty roster. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays. Opening and closing duties may require employees to report before the outlet opens or remain after it closes. All required working hours will be stated in the duty roster and recorded accordingly.
