Job Purpose

To provide excellent customer service by ensuring guests receive friendly, efficient, and professional service while maintaining the cleanliness and standards of the outlet.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist guests with seating and provide menus.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
• Provide information about menu items, promotions, and recommendations when required.
• Serve food and beverages according to outlet standards.
• Attend to guests’ requests and ensure customer satisfactions.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and report to the Supervisor when necessary.

Outlet Operations

• Ensure tables, dining areas, service stations, and surrounding areas are clean and properly arranged.
• Prepare the outlet before opening and assist with closing procedures.
• Set up tables, cutleries, glassware, and other service items according to outlet standards.
• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave.
• Ensure all equipment and service items are properly handled and stored.

Order & Payment Handling

• Ensure food and beverage orders are entered correctly into the POS system.
• Coordinate with the kitchen/bar to ensure orders are prepared and served accurately.
• Assist with billing and payment collection when required.
• Ensure all transactions are handled according to company procedures.

Food Safety & Hygiene

• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, grooming, and cleanliness.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle food and beverages properly to maintain quality and safety.
• Report any damaged equipment, hygiene issues, or safety hazards to the Supervisor.

Teamwork

• Work closely with the Supervisor, kitchen team, and other outlet staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist colleagues during busy periods when required.
• Support training of new staff when assigned.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers and colleagues.

Others

• Assist with stock replenishment and basic inventory checks when required.
• Assist in outlet promotions, events, and special functions.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management from time to time.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in F&B/service industry is preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, polite, and well-groomed.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Team player with a positive working attitude.

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
