Kerja Sepenuh Masa Purchasing Manager – Food - FMCG, Gaji tinggi MYR 8,000 di Irkaz Travel & Tours Selangor - Maukerja

We’re looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead our purchasing and procurement function, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely availability of products across our Food & FMCG operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Purchasing & Procurement

• Lead day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities
• Source, evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, pricing and delivery capability
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and commercial agreements with suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure consistent quality and timely delivery
• Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and identify opportunities for cost optimisation
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures

Inventory & Stock Management

• Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimising overstock and slow-moving items
• Coordinate stock replenishment based on demand, inventory levels and business requirements
• Monitor stock movement, product shelf life and stock rotation
• Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth product flow
• Review purchasing and inventory reports to support procurement decisions

Operations & Process Improvement

• Monitor purchasing performance, costs and supplier lead times
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and operational efficiency
• Ensure purchase orders and related documentation are accurate and properly maintained
• Support logistics and order fulfilment activities when required

Team Management

• Lead, supervise, train and develop the purchasing team
• Plan workloads and monitor team performance
• Provide guidance to ensure purchasing activities are carried out efficiently and accurately

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
• Proven experience in purchasing / procurement specifically within the Food, FMCG, grocery or retail industry
• Strong understanding of purchasing and procurement processes within the retail / grocery environment
• Strong supplier negotiation and vendor management skills
• Good understanding of inventory management, stock replenishment and purchasing planning
• Proven leadership experience managing a purchasing team
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
