Job Summary
Oversee daily venue operations, lead and develop front-of-house and bar teams, and deliver exceptional guest experiences while ensuring compliance with regulations and driving business growth in a premium hospitality setting.
Responsibilities
Manage daily venue operations to ensure smooth, efficient service and high guest satisfaction
Lead, train, mentor, and motivate front-of-house and bar teams to achieve service excellence
Manage reservations, guest relations, and VIP clientele to enhance customer loyalty
Maintain quality and consistency of all beverages and service standards through regular monitoring
Monitor inventory levels, place stock orders, control beverage costs, and manage supplier relationships
Prepare staff schedules and manage labour costs to optimize operational efficiency
Recruit, onboard, and develop team members to build a skilled, motivated workforce
Ensure compliance with Singapore’s food safety, liquor licensing, and workplace safety regulations
Collaborate with the Chef-Owner and management team to develop new concepts, events, and guest experiences
Support marketing initiatives, private events, and promotional activities to increase brand visibility
Monitor sales performance, identify revenue growth opportunities, and implement strategies to meet business targets
Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain high service standards
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial role within a premium cocktail bar, luxury hospitality venue, hotel, or fine dining restaurant
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and Champagne
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Outstanding customer service and communication abilities
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Experience in inventory management, cost control, and staff scheduling
Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
WSET, BarSmarts, or equivalent beverage qualifications are an advantage
