Key Responsibilities:

Check the Site: Run regular safety checks and audits to find hazards and ensure full compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) and company rules.
Lead Safety Meetings: Plan, review, and oversee daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and advanced training classes for workers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
Keep Records: Establish and maintain the site's safety management system, including statutory inspection checklists, injury logs, risk files, and training tracking sheets.
Help Write Safety Plans: Lead the development, implementation, and review of Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) for all site activities.
Watch Site Workers: Supervise site activities to enforce compliance with safe work practices, method statements, and permit-to-work systems.
Investigate Accidents: Lead comprehensive investigations into accidents, dangerous occurrences, and near-misses to identify root causes.
Fix Safety Issues: Formulate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and closely monitor implementation to eliminate site hazards permanently.
Talk with Teams: Act as the primary liaison and secretary for the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Committee, coordinating between clients, management, and subcontractors.
Support Managers: Assist the Project Manager and Corporate WSH Manager in implementing the overarching company safety policy and objectives.

What credentials and experience you should have:

Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower Singapore

Experience: At least 2 to 3 years of post-registration experience handling safety management on construction sites.

Knowledge: Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of the Singapore WSH Act, subsidiary legislations, and relevant Codes of Practice.
Skills: Competent in conducting hazard identification, risk evaluation, and drafting detailed safety management reports.
Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills to influence safety culture and present findings to stakeholders and authorities.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis, incident charting, and digital reporting.
Schedule: 6 day work week.
