Payroll Executive (6-Month Project Contract)

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Executive based in Malaysia to support payroll operations across Malaysia. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining payroll compliance, and providing payroll support to employees and internal stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across Malaysia, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
  2. Maintain payroll records, employee data, statutory deductions, tax information, and payroll documentation.
  3. Ensure compliance with local labor regulations, payroll policies, and statutory requirements.
  4. Liaise with HR, Finance, and payroll vendors to resolve payroll-related queries and discrepancies.
  5. Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and support payroll audits and month-end activities.
  6. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll accuracy and operational efficiency.


Requirements

  1. Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  2. 2-4 years of payroll experience, preferably handling payroll operations in Malaysia.
  3. Strong understanding of payroll processes, statutory contributions, taxation, and payroll compliance.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong numerical and analytical skills.
  5. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
