Job Description & Requirements

• To assist the Project Manager in implementing the safety management system to ensure staff and workers work in a safe and healthy environment.
• To assist the Project Manager in implementing the permit to work system and to stop any incompatible works.
• To Act as a Secretary of the project committee and chair the meeting that staff and subcontractors are aware of the site activities and the required actions.
• To conduct periodic safety inspection to verify level of safety compliance so that the safety standards are constantly improved.
• To ensure site compliance with statutory safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations and to report any deviations to the Project Manager for management consideration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Workplace Safety, Health and Environment and accepted WSH-related qualification
• Hold a valid registration with MOM as a WSH Officer and with NEA as an ECO
