Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Learning
- Deliver engaging Computer Science and Digital Literacy lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Develop students' understanding of basic computing concepts and digital citizenship.
- Introduce computational thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Foster creativity through technology-based learning activities.
- Encourage responsible and safe use of digital technologies.
2. Practical & Inquiry-Based Learning
- Facilitate hands-on learning using computers, tablets, and educational technologies.
- Introduce coding through age-appropriate platforms and activities.
- Support project-based learning and collaborative technology activities.
- Encourage creativity through digital projects and presentations.
3. Lesson Planning & Curriculum Delivery
- Prepare daily and weekly lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Develop engaging learning materials and practical activities.
- Integrate technology and cross-curricular learning where appropriate.
4. Assessment & Progress Monitoring
- Assess student progress through assignments, projects, presentations, quizzes, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement.
- Identify students requiring intervention or enrichment.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or related field.
- Recognised teaching qualification preferred.
- Experience teaching Primary students preferred.
- Familiarity with Scratch, Scratch Jr, or other block-based programming platforms.
- Understanding of computational thinking and coding concepts for young learners.
- Ability to integrate technology into primary classroom learning.
Pay: From RM3,200.00 per month
