End User Support Engineer (EUC) | Urgent Hiring | 2 Positions | Sarawakian Only

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an experienced End User Support Engineer looking for a stable, long-term engagement in Sarawak? On behalf of our client, a leading energy / oil & gas company with operations in Bintulu and Sibu, we are urgently seeking 2 (two) Sarawakian End User Support (EUC) Engineers to provide on-site IT support to an enterprise user base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide Level 1 and Level 2 end user support - hardware and software troubleshooting
2. Administer Microsoft 365 and Active Directory user accounts (onboarding, offboarding, password resets, shared mailbox management)
3. Deploy, configure and support laptops and desktops; OS imaging and build; software deployment via SCCM and/or Microsoft Intune
4. Support printers, meeting rooms, video conferencing and AV systems (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Logitech systems)
5. Maintain IT asset and inventory records; create and update IT documentation and procedures
6. Coordinate with vendors on hardware procurement, repairs and warranty claims
7. Support town hall / AV events when required

REQUIREMENTS

• Malaysian citizen and Sarawakian (born or long-term resident in Sarawak)
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in End User Support / Desktop Support / EUC in an enterprise environment
•  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / related field (Candidates with strong relevant experience are encouraged to apply)
• Willing to travel between sites & offshore site work when required
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills
• Hands-on experience with: Windows 10/11 administration, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Active Directory, SCCM and/or Intune, basic PowerShell scripting, ITSM / ticketing systems
• Preferred: Mimecast administration, Microsoft Teams Rooms / Logitech meeting room systems, basic network troubleshooting, vendor management, AV/town hall event support

WORK DETAILS

• Location: Bintulu / Sibu, Sarawak (travel between sites required)
• Working Hours: Office hours + offshore site work upon request
• Employment Type: Contract - Fixed-term (renewable based on company needs & performance) 

REMUNERATION & BENEFITS

• Basic Salary: RM4,000 – RM4,800 (commensurate with experience)
• Offshore Allowance: RM200/day (actual offshore days only)
• Medical benefits, annual leave & sick leave
• Statutory contributions: EPF, SOCSO, EIS
