1. Electrical System Operation & Monitoring
- Operate and monitor 11kV high-voltage electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, and related equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and monitoring of electrical equipment and installations.
- Ensure electrical systems are operated safely and efficiently.
- Record and maintain daily readings, operational logs, and equipment status.
- Perform switching operations in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements.
2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance for electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults and breakdowns promptly.
- Inspect transformers, switchboards, protection systems, generators, UPS, and other electrical equipment.
- Coordinate electrical repair and maintenance works with internal teams and appointed contractors.
- Ensure maintenance activities are properly documented.
3. High-Voltage Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all high-voltage electrical works are carried out in accordance with approved safety procedures.
- Follow Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) requirements and applicable Malaysian electrical regulations.
- Ensure proper implementation of Permit-to-Work (PTW), isolation, lockout/tagout, and electrical safety procedures.
- Maintain and update electrical system documentation, single-line diagrams, maintenance records, and related technical documents.
- Immediately report electrical hazards, defects, and unsafe conditions to management.
4. Emergency & Breakdown Response
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies, power interruptions, equipment failures, and breakdowns.
- Assist in investigating the cause of electrical faults and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate emergency repair works with contractors and relevant departments.
- Participate in emergency response and electrical recovery procedures.
5. Building & Facilities Support
- Support the Facilities / Building Operations team in maintaining the overall electrical infrastructure.
- Monitor electrical consumption and identify potential energy-saving opportunities.
- Assist with testing and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines such as HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and building management where required.
6. Contractor & Vendor Management
- Supervise appointed electrical contractors and service providers.
- Ensure contractors comply with site safety rules, work procedures, and permit requirements.
- Monitor the quality and progress of electrical maintenance works.
- Verify completed works and service reports before submission to management.
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, breakdowns, switching operations, and electrical incidents.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly electrical maintenance reports where required.
- Ensure statutory inspection and testing records are properly maintained.
- Escalate major electrical issues and equipment defects to the Engineering / Facilities Manager.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
