​About the Role

We are seeking a sharp, commercially minded Corporate Legal Officer to join our HQ team. Standard textbook legal knowledge isn’t enough. While academic qualifications lay the foundation, we need someone who is street-smart—an individual who understands how the world actually operates, navigates business realities with ease, and protects the company's commercial interests with pragmatism and agility.

​Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate straightforward business agreements, vendor contracts, and commercial terms efficiently, avoiding bogged-down processes.

Liaise with external law firms or regulatory bodies when specialised legal intervention is required.

Support HQ and cross-border management with general corporate compliance and practical risk management.

Work closely with HR to provide practical guidance on employment matters, contracts, and internal policies.

Resolve day-to-day operational issues with a business-first mindset rather than getting bogged down in legal technicalities.

​Requirements & Qualifications

Experience / Qualification: At least 5 years of solid paralegal experience OR an LLB qualification.

Core Competencies: Strong practical knowledge of general HR work, employment practices, and basic business agreements.

100% Street-Smart: High emotional intelligence, sharp business instincts, and a realistic grasp of how commercial transactions play out.
