Supervisor Cashier

Role Description

• Assisted and trained cashiers in sales techniques, providing excellent customer service, problem solving and daily cash balancing operation.
• Prepared cashier, operations and revenue reports.
• Assisted with daily store opening and closing procedures.

Main Responsibilities

• Greet customers when entering or leaving establishments and pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure proper Grooming for all Cashiers and always smile.
• Trained and developed new Cashiers on POS system and key sales tactics.
• Resolved inquiries, complains and issues with customers by providing information on procedures or policies.
• Ensured that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment.
• Maintained awareness of all promotions, advertisements and new product samples.
• Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones to customer.
• Perform sales count before leaving and keep reports of transactions at Cash Office.
• Responsible to abide safety operation rules & regulation in store.
• Perform housekeeping, ensure cleanliness and health & safety measurement at checkout area.

General

• To adhere and enforce all Company’s policies and procedures.
• Undertake / participate in any ad hoc projects or other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least SPM qualification.
• Minimum 1-2 year(s) of working experience in related field.
• Attention to details and sense of urgency.
• Computer literate, able to perform accurate data entry.
• Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Familiar with electronic equipment (cash register, scanner & cashier counter) will be added advantage.

Location outlet : Village Grocer @ Subang Parade, LG 26 & 26B, Subang Parade, Jalan Kemajuan Subang, Ss 16, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
