Working Hours

Monday–Thursday:
8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, inclusive of 1-hour lunch break

Friday:
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, inclusive of 1-hour lunch break

May be required to start at

7:15 AM

for selected school events such as Awards Day, Lunar New Year and school anniversary celebrations.

Working hours may be adjusted for school events.

No service required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Job Summary

The ICT & Multimedia Support Assistant will support ICT teaching and learning activities, digital literacy programmes, AV operations, multimedia production and school events. The role will work closely with the HOD ICT and school staff to develop training resources, conduct student and staff training, maintain media resources and provide technical support for ICT and AV requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct computer training for students on multimedia applications.

Work with the HOD ICT to develop and review ICT training resources and programmes according to the school's needs.

Develop training resources for student and staff training sessions.

Train Primary 1–6 students in digital literacy and safe use of online tools.

Assist with ICT-related training for staff, InfoComm Club and ICT Student Leaders.

Manage and maintain inventory of AV/IT equipment across classrooms, halls, parade square and special rooms.

Set up and manage

Public Address (PA)

equipment for school events.

Support

Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings/webinars

Provide photography and videography support for school events.

Perform photo and video editing.

Archive, organise and manage the school's photos, videos, documents and other media resources.

Support school website design and maintenance.

Provide technical support in computer labs and support small-group teaching where required.

Assist with assessment of students and monitor the effectiveness of ICT-related teaching programmes.

Work with HOD/SH ICT to recommend improvements to ICT teaching programmes.

Assist Desktop Engineers in moving mobile carts to classrooms when required.

Perform other ICT, AV and multimedia duties assigned by the school.

Qualifications

Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent

in a relevant field.

Good command of

English

, both written and spoken.

Proficient in

Microsoft Office

, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Proficient in

Google Workspace

, including Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets and Sites.

Knowledge of multimedia applications such as: Adobe PremiereAdobe PhotoshopAdobe Illustrator

Knowledge of

STEM/coding

platforms such as Scratch, Arduino, Micro: bit or Apple Swift Playgrounds.

Experience with iOS devices such as iPad, iMac and MacBook is an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience

teaching computer applications in a school environment.

Experience teaching

primary school students

is preferred.

Experience in animation, mobile learning, basic programming, photography, video filming and editing is advantageous.

Strong project management ability.

Highly motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.
