Kerja Sepenuh Masa, Senior Java Developer di EPAM Systems Federal Territory - Maukerja

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to support, build and modernize services powering an awards and bonus configuration platform. You will work across Java 17,19,21 and legacy Java monoliths, develop RESTful microservices on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The team is a pod within the broader organization and collaborates with a global team, where AI innovations becoming significant accelerators in delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance Java services supporting scheduled awards and bonus configuration capabilities
• Own delivery across the software development life cycle from design through release and support
• Design, implement and document REST APIs and microservices aligned to modernization goals
• Improve code quality through unit tests, refactoring and pragmatic technical debt reduction
• Collaborate with business and engineering partners to translate requirements into working software
• Partner with DevOps engineers to support deployment, deploy and maintain the application
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause fixes to improve stability and performance

Requirements

• Java expertise, including hands-on work with modern Java versions
• Spring Framework and Spring Boot capability for building scalable services
• Microservices architecture and REST API design experience
• SQL skills and confidence working with relational databases
• Background in unit testing with JUnit and Mockito
• Comfort working in Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments
• Clear communication in English with confidence in spoken discussions
• Ownership mindset with strong problem-solving and follow-through

Nice to have

• Exposure to Apache Kafka and AWS
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
