Responsibilities
Experienced IT leader responsible for overseeing enterprise patch management, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure change governance across mission-critical environments. The role ensures secure, compliant, and reliable deployment of system updates while minimizing operational risk and service disruption.
- Lead enterprise-wide patch and vulnerability management programs across Windows, Linux, Unix, database, and cloud platforms.
- Govern change reviews, risk assessments, testing, implementation, and rollback planning for infrastructure updates.
- Coordinate patch deployments across complex, interconnected systems while ensuring service availability and compliance.
- Drive automation initiatives using orchestration and Infrastructure-as-Code tools to improve efficiency and reduce deployment risks.
- Partner with Cyber Security teams to prioritize vulnerability remediation and manage security risks.
- Lead incident response and recovery activities related to patch implementations.
- Act as the primary stakeholder liaison for audit, compliance, vendor management, and executive reporting.
Requirements
- 15+ years of IT infrastructure experience with significant expertise in patch management and change governance.
- Strong background in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments, preferably banking or financial services.
- Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, cloud platforms, and enterprise patching tools (SCCM, BigFix, Chef, Ansible)
- Proven experience managing risks, stakeholders, vendors, and operational change processes.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, Microsoft, or Red Hat are advantageous.
