WHO WE ARE

DORS (Design Orchard Retail Showcase), is Singapore pre-eminent multi-label store that supports top local designers in the lifestyle and fashion industries. The location serves as a creative incubator, vibrant events space, and a platform in the heart of Orchard Road for Singapore’s homegrown brands to showcase their creativity to the world. DORS houses over 100 brands in these categories, making it Singapore’s largest physical one-stop shopping destination for local labels.

DORSe is the AI-powered digital channel that will fuel the growth of DORS through the merging of both digital and physical channels.

DORS is run by Singapore Fashion Council (SFC), the official association for the fashion industry in Singapore. Our mission at SFC is quite simple: To create A Vibrant Asian Hub For Responsible Fashion.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Welcome and engage customers, delivering an exceptional in-store experience that reflects the DORS brand. 

• Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through attentive, personalized service. 

• Build rapport with customers and share the stories behind our designers and products. 

• Drive sales to meet individual and store targets, actively upselling and cross-selling where appropriate. 

• Support day-to-day store operations, including cashiering, housekeeping, and stock replenishment. 

• Assist with inventory management and maintaining visual merchandising standards. 

• Support store events, brand activations, and campaigns when scheduled. 

• Uphold safety, security, and administrative procedures at all times. 

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Retail Operations team. 

What We’re Looking For: 

• Minimum 3 days a week commitment, including weekends and public holidays where required. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with customers. 

• A positive, cheerful team player who thrives in a retail environment. 

• Passionate about fashion, design, and storytelling, with an enthusiasm for championing local and regional brands. 

• Prior retail or customer-facing experience is preferred, but training will be provided. 

• Open to students studying fashion, retail, design, or related fields who are eager to gain hands-on industry experience.
