About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Director, Business Development or Senior Manager to identify and develop new business opportunities, build strong partnerships, and drive sustainable business growth. This role is responsible for formulating business development strategies, acquiring new clients, expanding strategic collaborations, and working closely with internal stakeholders to strengthen the company's market position and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities in collaboration with internal departments.
• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
• Proactively source, engage, negotiate, and secure new business opportunities and clients.
• Establish and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations to expand the company's market presence.
• Work closely with the Marketing team to develop impactful growth initiatives, branding campaigns, and customer acquisition strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, business partners, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Analyse business performance, market insights, and customer data to optimise growth strategies.
• Manage business development budgets and optimise partnerships and vendor resources for maximum return on investment.
• Track, measure, and achieve agreed business development KPIs and revenue targets.
• Recommend innovative initiatives that strengthen the company's competitive advantage and market leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in business development, partnership management, or strategic growth.
• Proven track record in identifying, negotiating, and securing new business opportunities.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and commercial acumen.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to achieve business targets.
• Highly adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with strong work ethics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
