Job Summary

As an Operations Executive (Food Court), you will lead food court operations to ensure excellent customer dining experiences, manage tenant relations, oversee hygiene and compliance, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tenants and contractors to maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized food court delivering excellent food and service
• Manage hygiene, cleaning schedules, pest control contracts, and liaise with NEA personnel as required
• Resolve tenant issues including cutlery supplies and POS machine functionality to ensure smooth operations
• Coordinate online delivery operations to maintain seamless service across platforms
• Source and onboard new tenants to replace outgoing ones and handle tenancy agreement inquiries
• Deploy staff rosters in collaboration with HR to optimize workforce scheduling
• Liaise with sales, marketing, and product managers to address tenant needs, menu updates, and online delivery matters
• Administer compliance with licenses and permits including SFA, Halal Certification, FSC, and NEA alongside relevant stakeholders
• Lead staff training, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions in partnership with HR
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc operational reports, and conduct meetings and presentations with management and chefs
• Review and improve operational processes for continuous enhancement of food court performance
• Execute ad hoc projects and tasks assigned by the Managing Director

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in food and beverage operations, preferably within food courts
• Proven leadership skills demonstrated through hands-on management, proactive problem-solving, and effective communication
• Ability to react quickly and resolve urgent operational issues to maintain service quality

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business & Administration, Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management, or related fields
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Skills in accounting, administration, marketing, restaurant operations, and interpersonal communication
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player
