Role Description The Salesperson at Zhafran Optometry is a full-time, on-site role based in Bota. The Salesperson will welcome clients, understand their vision care needs, and guide them in selecting suitable eyewear, lenses, and related products. Daily responsibilities include providing product recommendations, explaining features and benefits, processing sales transactions, and managing basic inventory and product displays. The role also involves coordinating with optometrists and staff to ensure that product choices align with clinical recommendations, handling client inquiries, and supporting corporate screening and promotional activities. The Salesperson is expected to maintain a professional, customer-focused environment and contribute to meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build trust with a diverse client base.
• Sales and retail skills, including basic product knowledge, upselling, cross-selling, and handling point-of-sale systems.
• Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple clients, follow up on orders, and maintain orderly product displays.
• Basic understanding or willingness to learn about eyewear products, lenses, and vision care concepts to support accurate recommendations.
• Ability to work on-site in Bota, including standing for extended periods and managing a fast-paced clinical retail environment.
• Previous experience in optical, healthcare, or retail sales is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales, customer service, or optics is beneficial.
• Comfort working with digital tools and record-keeping systems; basic computer literacy required.
