Role Overview
This is an opportunity to sit at the centre of a professional services firm and see how it truly runs. As Business Analyst within the Assurance Quality, Performance & Transformation Office (AQPTO), you will work directly with the CEO and management, turning firm-wide financial and operational data into the insight that shapes decisions on growth, profitability, digital transformation and cost efficiency.
Your analysis will inform board-level discussion, your dashboards will track the firm's strategic agenda, and your work will support firm-wide initiatives, including ongoing efforts to digitalise and automate administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Forecasting, Analysis & Operational Monitoring
- Compile and analyse firm-wide financial data, including revenue, collections, recovery performance and profitability.
- Prepare monthly management performance analysis reports and dashboards for the management.
- Own the budgeting and forecasting process, analysing P&L and cash flow variances on a monthly basis.
- Reconcile and validate datasets across systems to ensure reporting accuracy
2. Business Analysis & Strategic Support
- Provide business analysis for strategic initiatives including firm growth, digital transformation and cost optimisation.
- Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
- Translate financial and operational data into clear strategic insights and executive summaries.
3. Strategic Project Monitoring, Execution & Process Improvement
- Assist management in tracking the progress of key strategic projects, including supporting our AI Champion Team to identify opportunities to digitalise and automate administrative tasks across departments.
- Develop tracking frameworks and dashboards to monitor KPIs and milestone achievement.
- Support inter-department coordination and follow-up on strategic action items.
4. Management-Level Support & Reporting
- Prepare concise, high-impact presentations, reports and briefings for board-level discussions.
- Manage sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
- Liaise with departments across the firm to ensure timely and accurate delivery of business data and updates.
- Provide ad-hoc support in response to the management’s priorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Economics or equivalent.
- Minimum 2- 4 years of relevant experience in business analysis, financial planning, transformation or strategy. Experience in professional services or an audit firm is an added advantage.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics tools – Excel, Power Query, PowerPoint, Power BI, Word, etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability, with a solid understanding of audit firm operations and KPIs.
- A clear and confident communicator, experienced in preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership.
- The ability to interpret operational data to support strategic decision-making and to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Sound judgement in handling confidential information, with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
Preferred Experience:
- Strong background in financial analysis, forecasting and variance reporting.
- Proficiency in business intelligence and automation tools (e.g. Power BI, Power Automate, etc.) and financial modelling.
- Exposure to strategic planning, business transformation or change management projects.
- Prior experience in professional services – audit, tax or advisory.
