Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to support the Group IT team in developing and improving internal business applications. The intern will gain hands-on experience in software development, business requirement gathering, testing, automation, and digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in developing and enhancing web or mobile applications.

* Understand business requirements and translate them into practical system features.

* Support coding, testing, debugging, and system improvements.

* Assist with database, API, and system integration work.

* Prepare basic technical and user documentation.

* Explore AI-assisted development, automation, and low-code tools.

* Work closely with the IT team and business users on assigned projects.

Requirements

* Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

* Basic programming knowledge in languages or frameworks such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C+, PHP, CSS, Flutter, or React.

* Basic understanding of databases and software development concepts.

* Good problem-solving and communication skills.

* Willing to learn and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Added Advantage

* Experience with web or mobile development.

* Familiarity with Git, Fire/Superbase, APIs, cloud platforms, AI coding tools, Power Apps, Power Automate, or SharePoint.

* Personal, academic, or GitHub software projects.
