About the Role

We are looking for a Purchasing Executive to manage purchasing activities and work closely with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of materials for our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing activities, including quotation, supplier sourcing, PO issuance, and order follow-up.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, lead time, and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor purchase orders and ensure materials are delivered according to production requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Quality, and Finance.
• Resolve purchasing, delivery, and material shortage issues promptly.
• Maintain good supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and update information in the ERP system.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Good negotiation, communication, supplier management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP experience is an advantage.
• Proactive, analytical, organized, and able to work independently.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production requirements.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
