Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project (added advantage)
  • Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to work on construction site

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at site
  • Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and method statements
  • Prepare Method Statements, Work Procedures and related technical documents
  • Follow up on material submissions, approvals and delivery
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site workers
  • Review and coordinate shop drawings, construction drawings and as-built drawings
  • Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to the project schedule
  • Conduct site inspections and coordinate rectification of defective or non-compliant works
  • Assist in resolving technical issues and site-related problems
  • Prepare daily site reports, progress reports and site records
  • Attend site meetings and follow up on technical matters and outstanding issues
  • Coordinate site activities to ensure proper sequencing of works
  • Monitor the quality of construction works and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and monitoring project activities
  • Ensure proper documentation and records are maintained throughout the project
