Job description

  • To review all existing and prospective company group contracting documents.
  • To advise, review, draft investment agreements, contracts, documents for any corporate exercise, investments undertaken by Company Group.
  • To develop enhanced contracting document templates for future Company GROUP contracts (customers/vendors/consultants/service providers).
  • To review, comment and advice the company on all new contracts to be entered into by Company GROUP.
  • To carry out a review of all legal risks, whether pertaining to contracts or legal operational risks and to develop appropriate policies to manage and mitigate these risks.
  • To assist the company GROUP team with any legal queries pertaining to contracting and legal risks. to assist in providing preliminary advice and strategy advice on dealing with any potential claims or actual claim, threat of litigation or potentially legally troublesome matters.
  • To liaise with and deal with any external counsel and counterparties, in conducting any review of or negotiations of contracting document.
  • To provide any advice and general counsel on all legal matters, to protect the Company's interest.

Qualifications

  • Must have a professional experience of 3-5 years within international environment's companies.
  • Should have a specialization or a significant experience in Contract Law and corporate law, with exposure in corporate exercises.
  • Experience in reviewing legal contracts with a balance with business perspective => business orientated
  • Must be able to review international contracts which are subject to different laws and issues.
  • Must be able to work and make decisions under pressure.
  • Provide a balance between legal acumen and commercial appreciation.
  • Must be able to identify the priorities and to work accordingly. Self-confident.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
